The 4th of July

I had such a great weekend celebrating Independence Day. We began the weekend by attending the parade on the Marietta Square. It was fun. My favorite part was trying to collect as many political stickers as I could to cover my entire shirt:) I came pretty close! I also loved seeing all of the dogs that were there to watch the parade as well as seeing the horses in the parade.






I was very excited to come back to the Square that evening for the fireworks. We got there in time for dinner and then we play with friends until dark.

Princess Tea Party Day Camp

Mommy has been searching and searching and she finally found a Princess Camp that I was old enough for. It was only for one day, but I LOVED it. I was so excited to be finally going to camp instead just dropping Emma off at her camps. I loved being a princess for the day and even cried a little when it was over and everyone had to go home:(

Picking Blackberries

We have the most amazing blackberry bushes in the back of our neighborhood and the berries are delicious. Emma and I love to pick them. We love to eat them in cereal, over waffles, and with Cool Whip. Last night Mommy made Blackberry Crumble for dessert and we ate it all up:) YUM!

Marietta Fire Station #1

Some friends and I went to the Marietta Fire Museum and Fire Station #1 today. It was really cool to meet some real fire fighters, play on the trucks, and see where they live while they are working. We learned a lot about fire safety and what to do in an emergency.

Free Summer Movies

Every summer the theater by our house has free movies every Tuesday and Thursday morning. Mommy has been taking us for the past 3 years and we were so excited when they started up again last week. Last week we saw Planet 51 and it was really funny. This week Emma is in Cheerleading Camp so Mommy and I went by ourselves. We saw The Princes and the Frog. Of course I had already seen it a million times, but Mommy was glad that she finally got to see it. I ate TWO boxes of popcorn and a bag of Skittles while I was there:)

Home Depot Kid's Workshop

This weekend Emma and I made mini soccer games at the Home Depot Kid's Workshop. It was so fun to construct and even more fun to play!

Tuesday Lunch Group

Emma and I meet our friends for lunch every Tuesday. Sometimes we eat out, sometimes we picnic, and sometimes we meet at a friend's house. This week we met at Mitchell's house for pizza and homemade ice cream sandwiches. Mommy and Charlotte whipped up these adorable pig-shaped sandwiches and we loved them. It took them about 40 minutes to make them and we cleaned the plate in less than one minute!
