Toy Food - I don't Get It???

I love to play and recently discovered Emma's basket of pretend food. It looks real, it fits in my mouth, but I just can't seem to bite into it. I have tried just about every piece and nothing! I also can't figure out the pretend drinks. I suck and I suck and I can't get a drop out. Mommy keeps telling me it is a toy, but I just don't get it.
