A Fun Day with Family

This weekend Nana Jordan and Aunt Jill were in town for a wedding shower. We got to spend all day with them on Saturday and we took them to several of my favorite places. Here I am painting pottery with Uncle Todd.
Everyone had fun painting. I will post pictures of what we created when Mommy picks them up.
The day wouldn't have been complete without stopping for icecream!

Headed South

We headed to South GA for Spring Break and we were busy, busy, busy. We went to Nana and Granddaddy's house, went to Okefenokie Swamp park, and went to St. Simons Island. Our trip went by way to fast!

Egg Hunt - Round 5

Location: My backyard
Weather: hot

Emma and I had our very own egg hunt in the backyard. Daddy hid 36 eggs and we had so much fun looking for them. He is a good 'hider'! The best part was that the eggs were filled with money! I made $14!

Egg Hunt - Round 4

Location: Burnt Hickory
Weather: overcast, but comfortable

Today we went to the Burnt Hickory Baptist Egg-stravaganza. I have been going to this hunt since my first Easter and it is always the best in town. They have hunts every 30 minutes, crafts, inflatables, train rides, lots of food, and of course CANDY! The only bad thing about this egg hunt is it is always during nap time:( I was really tired by the time we got to the hunt today, but I was a little trooper and did the best I could. I only got 3 eggs, but it was still really fun.

My First Pedicure

Today I experienced a very important 'first' in my life. I got my first pedicure! I have had my nails painted before by Mommy, but this time I had them done in a salon. I loved it and stayed very still except for when the lady was filing my toenails -- it tickled! These pictures that I am posting aren't great, but Mommy's nails were wet so Emma had to be my photographer:)

*Please don't look too closely at my poor little legs. I have been playing outside and helping Daddy a lot in the yard so I have all kinds of bruises and booboos:)

Egg Hunt - Round 3

Weather: Perfect

My friends and I had an egg hunt at the park today. We had a great time and everyone got lots of eggs and candy. Emma was a little sad to find out all of this went on while she was in school though. The next morning she told Mommy that she didnt feel like she needed to attend school anymore!?! Luckily Mommy nicely explained to her that learning is MUCH more important than finding eggs and Emma agreed. Mommy also reminded her that I very eagerly shared my candy with her so she should be thankful for such a kind and generous little sister like me:)

This was my first Easter egg hunt of the year and it was great. I was so excited and scooped up as many eggs as I could. I was so thrilled with everything that I got and couldnt wait to show Mommy and Daddy what I had found. Then I wanted to eat ALL of it:)
